VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
2025 Federal Election Monitor and Blogger
​
Are you passionate about human rights and have a knack for writing? Join our team as a Human Rights Election Blogger! In this volunteer role, you'll monitor key human rights issues arising in the upcoming Australian federal election and share your insights through a weekly blog post during the official election campaign. This position can be shared among several volunteers or taken on by one enthusiastic individual!
Responsibilities:

Keep an eye on the latest human rights issues and developments during the federal election campaign.

Write a fun, engaging, and informative blog post once a week, highlighting key human rights topics and their impact on the election.

Collaborate with other volunteers (if applicable) to ensure comprehensive coverage of all relevant issues.

Stay up-to-date with election news and human rights discussions to provide timely and accurate content.

Time Commitment: Approximately 4 hours a week during the federal election campaign.

Gain valuable experience in monitoring and reporting on human rights issues.

Enhance your writing and analytical skills.

Be part of a passionate team making a difference during the election.

Have your work published and shared with a wider audience.
